Our First Lady

 

 

Dr. Geneva Scott-King assists her husband, Pastor Corey l. King,

 Sr.,as he shepherds Restoration Tabernacle Ministries. She has 2
sons, Corey Jr. (C.J.) and Mason. She is the daughter of Mr. and 

 Mrs.Cleveland Scott (Barbara).

She received the Lord as her personal Savior at the age of
9. She received her Christian at First Missionary Baptist
Church Thomasville, Georgia, under the guidance of the late
Rev. Dr. I.L. Mullins, Sr.(Josephine), and at New Life Ministries,
Valdosta, Georgia under the leadership of the late Dr. Larry
D. Manning, Sr. and Dr. Angela Manning. Dr. King further
studied the Bible while taking classes at American Baptist
Theological Seminary Extension unit under Dean, Dr. IL Mullins,

Sr.She has served in some capacity in every ministry in the church,

some including theUsher,dance, music, health, and ultimately the

Women's Department which she co-chairs at Restoration. After

delaying an official call into ministry in 1998, she was she was

licensed and ordained as an Elder in 2009 under the guidance and

stirring up of her ministry gift by her husband and soul mate,

  Dr. King received her high school diploma with honors in 1995

from Thomasville High School. She then graduated from Valdosta

State University's school of Nursing in 1999. In 2003, she

completed a Master's of Science Degree from Albany State

University and became a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. In
December 2011, she completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice
Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She
pursued her education at each level with the uncomparable
assistance of Archbold Medical Center, where she was the
First Minority Promotion of Excellence Recipient. 

She is currently employed at as an Assistant Professor

and a Nurse Practitioner Supervisor/Administrator at a University.
Dr. King loves her family, church and community. She, alone

and alongside her husband  at times, conduct leadership,

marriage, health and family seminars.  God has now

extended her territory and birth the umbrella Life Fit For A King,

which is a collaboration of business ventures, some including

event planning, designing, new authors guidance/proofing,
inventions. mobile paint parties, healthcare consulting and more!..
She is an author, of Disturbing Statistics; An Awakening to the 

Christian Community, a motivational book whose responses

spurred the formation of L.I.V.E. a nonprofit mentoring/life coach

ing agency for girls and women, and DJ Comes Home, a

children's book. She released Fighting and Still Pretty, a book

spoken into existence by her husband, in November 2018.

and "DJ Loses a Friend" in 2019. She released a grief toolkit in

2021-22 and is awaiting the release of 2 books.

 Dr. King, an entrepreneur, ministry leader, Assostant Professor

 nurse practitioner and Dream Pusher believes that she is

Nothing Without God.
