Church History
Early in 2006, Pastor King knew that his latter days would be greater, than the first, but it wasn't until June 2006 that God revealed the birth of a ministry through a vision to, Dr. Geneva Scott King. Even then, God's will had to be confirmed in the Spirit, of the head, Pastor King. Within a month, God moved like never before. First, a release was given from Pastor King's pastorship. Then, the church was spoke into existence by our Overseer Dr. Angela Manning and supported by one of our spiritual fathers, the late Bishop Dr. Larry D. Manning, Sr,. of New Life Ministries. The name Restoration was revealed through Pastor Corey King, Sr., by the Holy Ghost, and at once God directed Pastor Corey King to the location of the church for that season.
The first service of Restoration Tabernacle Ministries was held at on August 28, 2006 at 12:45 p.m. on 200 Euclid Drive in Thomasville, Georgia in the sanctuary of Crossroads Fellowship Church which was up for sale and guided by the sincere Christian heart of Pastor Greg Souders.. The founding members were Pastor Corey King, Lady Dr. Geneva King. Sis. Cathy Scott, Sis.Precious Sharpe, Sis. LaTela Sipplin, Deacon James and Minister Priscilla Wolfe, and Sister Tikisha Virgil. Mother Carolyn Adams and Sis. Deidra Williams were not members of the church at that time but they were steadfast and devoted to the ministry and assisted in establishing the church's foundation. The church started out with a Marriage, Single ,Audiovisual Health, Music, Dance, Deacon, Women,Youth, Usher, Outreach, Transportation, Culinary, Intercessory Prayer and Deaconess Ministry even though the congregation was small.
During the first year of service, the congregation blossomed. Pastor King would preach the word with clarity each Sunday as if he was at a Super Dome. He began to empower members into their divine destiny.
A van was bought in order to pick up parishioners,a website established to communicate what the Lord had done. The finances began to grow. Souls began to be saved, marriages formed and lives were changed. Restoration began to receive many converts who had never had a church or been saved which correlated with the vision. A sound system was also purchased that year.
After much prayer and careful supervision of the current members, Pastor King decided that he would place Elders, Ministers, and Deacons in Training in June 0f 2008.
As the church began entered the second year and continued to produce Bible-based tithers, Pator King wanted to confirm the location of the church. With much prayer, Crossroads Fellowship changed their minds and decided that they did not want to sell the santuary.
At that time Pastor King began to seek out the camp, which is our current location. The Lord cleared the land, opened the door, and Pastor King and the Members of Restoration Supernaturally walked in July 2008. Renovations began immediately.
The first official service was held on August 7, 2008 at 12:45 p.m.

On December 31, 2009 after training leaders for two years, Pastor King was empowered by God to Launch them into their spiritual inheritance. Elders established were Bro. Rodney Cromartie and Sis. Geneva King. At that time, Pastor King was told prophetically and in his spirit to name his wife as Assistant Pastor of the ministry that she helped birth. Ministers established were Min. Daryl Crenshaw, Min. Apri Walker, Minister Priscilla Wolfe, and Minister Sharon Montgomery Bogan. Ministers that held previous licensure were Minister Charles McLoud and Minister Brenda Daniels. Bro.
